Reiki Master & Instructor, Shalandra Abbey

Shalandra Abbey has been practicing Reiki since 1989 and teaching Reiki in Hawaii and around the globe since 1991. She resigned from the IBM corporation in 1990 because she found an exciting, simple way, for people of all ages, religions, and cultural backgrounds, to work with the energy that is all around them, to promote their health and well-being.

Shalandra currently resides on the island of Maui where she teaches and provides Reiki Natural healing treatments. She commutes regularly to Kauai to continue her practice there and is a member of The Reiki Alliance, a global organization of Reiki Masters committed to maintaining the founding principles of Usui Shiki Ryoho (Usui System of Reiki). Alliance members are guided by professional standards and a code of ethics. Their practice, teaching, and association within The Reiki Alliance represent many years of direct experience and apprenticeship with experienced masters.

Her classes are approved to provide CE credit to nurses and massage therapists. As she travels she is in contact with hospice, hospitals, clinics, business groups, churches etc. to assist them to establish Reiki programs in their areas.
